The hotel is in a fantastic location, just 2 minutes' walk (if that) from one of the marketsquares in Bruges (not the main one witt the belfry, but that's also a 5 minute walk or less). Beautiful decor in the hotel; the toilets in the reception were very nice, and the bar was very cosy and elegant, and with table service. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful and ha good English language skills. Didn't use the restaurant so no comment on that. Our room was in the modern part of the hotel, and it was lovely and clean with a HUGE comfy bed. Pillows were square for some reason, but when we called reception to ask for more pillows they were more than happy to oblige, and brought normal shaped pillows to the room. On our second night, my sister who had been camping in a van outside the city centre, needed a place to stay at 1am because her van was leaking rainwater. I called the reception night staff to ask if she'd be able to book a room for that night, the staff member was a bit taken aback by the unusual request but he eventually was able to give a (very expensive) quote for a premium room (all that was available). My sister agreed and she was told to ring the bell on arrival and he'd get her all sorted. They threw in a complimentary breakfast for the morning because of her rough evening so far, and she had a great stay in a very fancy room too!

I will recommend this hotel to everyone! Myself and my boyfriend stayed for a long weekend for his birthday and were so impressed from start to finish. We both said this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful and the attention to detail is like no other. The staff cannot do enough for you and were really helpful with recommendations and local knowledge! I had organised champagne on arrival for our trip (it was a birthday after all) and requested an early check in and both were arranged with ease and we were so appreciative. We were even lucky enough to get a room upgrade! The room we stayed in and the bar carried the same old style decor and we could only describe it as regal, it was breathtaking and the perfect spot for a drink before / after dinner! The spa area is modern, peaceful and elegant. The location of the hotel is perfect, about a 2 minute walk (if that!) from the Belfry Tower and we could walk to any part of Bruges in 10 minutes! We cant give higher praise to this hotel, nothing was less than 5* in our opinions. Will go back without hesitation!

The hotel is beautiful and the entrance, particularly when decorated for Christmas, looked lovely and welcoming. The hotel is located very centrally, near one of the main squares. The room was an okay size and had two zipped together beds making a king or super king which was very comfortable. The room was also very warm, which was great. Breakfast was varied and good quality with continental options, fresh fruit, pancakes, waffles, pastries, and cooked items. We really enjoyed the bar in the afternoons where we had hot chocolate and mulled wine - the setting is in the historic part of the hotel and it feels grand but is welcoming and cosy. The drinks come with snacks - chocolate and biscuit with the hot chocolate and mixed nibbles with the mulled wine. The staff were great - very friendly and happy to help.

A beautiful 4 star hotel, with a 5 star interior, a couple of minutes from the Bell Tower Square. There are lots of little restaurants in the streets near the hotel, in about 2 mins walk. It was very quiet & we slept really well. The hotel is elegant & comfortable, with gorgeous lounge bar areas to sit in. The high quality furnishings and decor are all pristine, & look new. Everywhere smells wonderful too! Breakfast is very relaxed, with a self service buffet. Everything you could want is there - cold cuts, cooked items, pancakes & waffles, breads, fruit etc. We didn't use the sauna or steam room, but it's also very attractive & serene. (We would have if there had been a hot tub or jacuzzi! ) The gym was well equipped too. I would definitely stay there again, & would highly recommend it.

The location of the hotel was excellent, as we pretty much walked out our door & down the block & we were in Market Square, which is where lots of shopping/restaurants & (when we were there, Christmas Markets) were! Our Superior Double room was in the historic part of the hotel, and was charming, spacious and well lit. There was a beautiful chandelier over the bed. The lobby/common areas of the hotel were beautiful & comfortable to gather in. Sadly, we didn't have a chance to check out the wellness area, but appreciated that it was there if we had more time! We did have a drink at the hotel bar, which had great drinks, but when I asked for a glass of water, they said they weren't allowed to give it to me!? weird.
