Everything about this hotel felt convenient and well-executed. The central location is perfect for exploring, and the underground car park with direct elevator access to the lobby is really comfortable. Beyond the logistics, the hotel itself is beautifully traditional and well-maintained, and the breakfast was a real highlight.

The building is perfectly located, and it is absolutely stunning! Beautiful, comfortable room with wonderful bathroom facilities, great toiletries, comfortable robes. The hotel lounge areas are fantastic, lots of lovely chairs to relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. I had an hour each afternoon to read with a glass of wine and it was perfect. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, they even have a service at the desk for you to send post, which meant I actually sent postcards - genius! I hope that I will stay here again :)

We really liked the design of the lobby, hotel bar, and hallways. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk to the Belfry. The beds are large and the mattresses very comfortable, although a bit on the soft side, and the hotel is exceptionally clean. Breakfast was quite basic — eggs, cold cuts, pastries, and cereals. Nothing really wowed us, but we’re from Croatia, where the food is excellent, so we understand that our bar is set pretty high from the start.

Very nice, comfy bed right in the heart of everything, close to lots of restaurants, shops, attractions. Beautifully appointed. Very nice room. Had a bath which was really nice after a long journey and aching legs. Plenty of nice things like shampoo and conditioner and lovely soaps and a couple of bottles of water for us. The breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. Plenty of breakfast food, pastries and freshly squeezed juice the staff there were some of the most efficient staff. Always renewing the food nothing ever run out

After having problems with some of the hotels on my last trip, with serious night noise that prevented getting a good night's sleep, I made a special effort to vet the hotels on this trip. The Grand Hotel Casselbergh didn't disappoint. With thick walls, floors, and ceilings, as well as double-pane windows, we never heard any noise during our three-night stay in the Casselergh. I like booking.com, but I don't like the way my noise complaints about specific hotels are not considered "relevant" to the "Most Relevant" rating algorithm, which hides them away somewhere unless the user specifically searches for the 1, 2, or 3 star reviews. Really? What is more relevant to a hotel stay than whether you can get some sleep? Back to the Casselbergh, the public spaces are super impressive and it was a joy to use them. The rooms are quiet and very, very clean. I can't remember a cleaner hotel room. Everything worked and worked well. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

I absolutely loved this hotel – the staff, the location, and of course, the beautiful city of Bruges. The room was stunning, well-equipped, and offered a lovely view of the canal. The location was perfect – less than a five-minute walk to the central market, with plenty of charming restaurants, coffee bars, and brunch spots nearby. The hotel itself felt wonderfully luxurious, almost like stepping back in time. The atmosphere was enchanting, and my stay was truly memorable.

It was centrally located. Loved the bathroom products, robes and slippers. Loved the historical building. It was so close. There was parking under the hotel.
